Exactly its my 50th day in this English soil, winter already started ..Day light ends here by 4:00 pm daily and the cold wind always blows even when the sun is shining high above the head.. Each day, when I woke up, will be openning my window curiously to know how the day looks..
So as planned, took some snaps and ensured to capture these moments.There was yet another plan for the day, haircut .. Every one might be thinking whats there to plan for this..Coz, this was my first trial in the Britain.. Already heard and seen many of my friends (bad) experience here
So thought of taking an expert advise, who was the latest victim too !!..He told me few major points
* Clippers - (local trimmers ) Make sure, they use them only for the side ways and not the upper and front portion of the hair
* Size - starts from 0 and increases, lesser the number more the loss of hair.. He said he took number 3 last time, immediately I decided to take number 4 (on seeing his hairstyle)
Nothing much differed in look when comparing to one in our Salem... Same newspapers around to make us entertaining, but the TV was missing and found some toys that was kept for the children..My turn came. I went and sat on the same designed chair ..
young lady came..My first surprise (Paaru da , namba urlayum taan kada irukae ??) .So she started asking something, I was not able to guess what where those..Just started "Need to shorten them", she was clue less.Immediately I said "number 4 and use clippers around, scissors in the front" (namaku therinja matter avalavu taan).She took the trimmer and started the job.. Many thoughts came across my mind
At one point, she just asked "is this fine ?? ".. I was without my specks and said its fine and asked her to proceed ..(athoda vilaivu, i came to know after 5 mins).. Atlast she used some word to denote 'Girudha', some how assumed, she was asking about that and managed to clear her question on the length of 'Girudha'
So all done, she again used a mirror to show my rear part of my hair..Again without specks, same way said its fine..then its done ...Now the final part..Bill, she charged.. 9 pounds (9*70 = 630)..(Naan apadiaye shock ayitaen) .
My friend told that they would charge,nine when they use scissors fully else they will charge less.So I asked the same, she confirmed again saying the same (namba neram, oru varusathuku haircutuku panrae selavae..orae naale panitaen).
